Below is a compilation of various Positions of Responsibility (PoRs) I have undertaken during my academic journey. These roles have allowed me to develop leadership skills, enhance my organizational abilities, and contribute positively to my community. Technical & Academic Roles
Undergraduate Teaching Assistant – Machine Learning Course
(Aug 2025 – Present, IIT Gandhinagar)
- Provided guidance to a cohort of 150+ students on core ML concepts, including regression, classification, clustering, and Neural Networks.
- Conducted periodic doubt-solving sessions, reviewed assignments, and assisted in grading to ensure a strong understanding of the course material.
- Acted as a key link between the professor and students, clarifying academic queries and providing feedback to improve the learning experience.
Branch Representative – Student Placement Cell
(Apr 2025 – Present, IIT Gandhinagar)
- Appointed representative for the Computer Science and Engineering department, serving as a liaison between department students and the Career Development Services (CDS) team.
- Worked to align industry expectations with student preparedness by addressing placement and internship-related concerns and involving CSE faculty when necessary.
Leadership & Organizational Roles
Core Committee Member – Blithchron
(May 2023 – Apr 2024, IIT Gandhinagar)
- Led a team of over 100 undergraduate and postgraduate students to successfully organize Gujarat’s largest student-run cultural festival.
- Managed budgets, coordinated with vendors and institute administration, and oversaw end-to-end event execution.
- Self-learned and utilized the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects) to design engaging promotional content for Instagram, significantly enhancing digital engagement.
- Spearheaded marketing initiatives, integrating creative strategy and social media to expand audience reach and participation.
Student Support Service - IIT Gandhinagar
Student Guide Coordinator: (Apr 2025 – Present, IIT Gandhinagar)
- Selected as the coordinator for a group of 35+ student guides and mentors.
- Oversaw the allocation and training of mentors, ensuring comprehensive support for a large incoming batch of students.
- Implemented a structured feedback system to enhance the mentorship program's effectiveness and address student needs proactively.
Student Guide: (Jul 2023 – Jun 2024 & Jul 2024 – Jun 2025, IIT Gandhinagar)
- Part of a faculty-led initiative aimed at providing holistic support to students in academic and non-academic domains.
- Mentored first-year students, offering guidance on coursework, campus life, and emotional well-being, promoting a positive and inclusive environment.
